Occidental was named the No. 5 NCAA Division III school for football by the NCSA on Thursday.
“We’re happy to be recognized as a terrific place for student-athletes to grow academically, as football players and as people,” TV head coach Rob Cushman said. “We’re excited about the work we’ve done recruiting to put this group together and can’t wait for games to start.”
The ranking was published in the USA Today High School Sports weekly column.
