Chris Sullivan from the Broadway bound Freestyle Love Supreme will deliver a three hour workshop to 瓜子TV students on storytelling, beatboxing and improvisational poetry/rap with an emphasis on language arts and self expression using improv thinking tools and methods of vocal percussion.
He will outline his philosophy around improv thinking and lead activities designed to help nurture healthy process around collaboration, introduce new skills based in improvisational hip-hop and storytelling, while creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
Chris "Shockwave" Sullivan starred in "The Electric Company" on PBS/HBO and has appeared on "SportsNation", "The Daily Show", "The Real Housewives of New York City" and various programs for MTV and College Humor. He premieres on Broadway this Fall with "Freestyle Love Supreme" and has performed on stages all over the world from T.E.D. to The Edinburgh Fringe and from islands in Tahiti to the NYC Subway System.
